The year 2020 has been A YEAR!  During this time of chaos, worry, and the “unknown” of our future, I feel so much for new parents.  Mamas have gone through a pregnancy and missed out on so many things she may have looked forward to experiencing:  a baby shower, sharing her baby bump with friends, receiving well-wishes from kind strangers.  She may have had to deliver a baby in conditions that were not a part of her original birth plan.  As I’ve opened my studio back up for sessions again, I am so happy to be able to focus on the good that comes with the birth of new babies.

Welcome to the world, Baby Jacob.  Looking back at images from Jacob’s session, I love how we captured the love and connection between Jacob and his parents. There is so much love when a new baby is born.  Watching this brand-new mama holding her babe, sniffing his sweet-smelling baby head, and snuggling in close….that’s magic. Focusing on the fuzzy little baby hair, the tiny wrinkly toes, and the way he curls up into a little ball in his Daddy’s arms….these are all the details I want these parents to remember.  Because today your baby is already a little bit bigger than yesterday.  And you will want to remember this moment in time.
